Downtown Sarasota Festival of the Arts

February 17 & 18, 2007 - 10am to 5pm
Touted as Sarasota’s biggest and best cultural event of the year, this nationally ranked festival spans downtown Sarasota along Main Street from Orange, Lemon and Pineapple Avenues and then curving through Five Points Park. 300 fine artists from across the nation will be on site the entire weekend exhibiting their work. Arizona Bobcat Commission

Work has begun on a life-size bobcat for an Arizona installation. The cast bronze piece will be included in the couple's creative southwest landscape and scenic desert view. On display at the Carefree Arts Festival, the clay bobcat maquette interested several patrons awaiting the finished bronze piece.
